Mt. Kilimanjaro
At 19,340 feet / 5895 meters, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa – The Roof of Africa – and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. It attracts climbers the world over.
The climb to the summit is spectacular – passing through different landscaped and climatic zones, and views that are breathtaking
We offer Kilimanjaro climbs using five different traditional routes to the summit, plus one exotic and remote trail. Below is a description of the very scenic Lemosho Route.
Lemosho Route
Lemosho is a beautiful route with gentle ascents approaching the mountain from the west. We pass through the Lemosho Glades and traverse the Shira Plateau, providing stunning views of Mount Meru and Kibo Peak, Kilimanjaro’s main peak. View the detailed itinerary here
