On the 25th April 2010 will take place the 3rd edition of the Messina Marathon.

The race course is flat and the temperatures are mild and breezy, usually between 16° C and 20° C.

The particularity of this route is the
wonderful panorama all along the
seaside, from the city centre across the harbour until the tip of the island.

The place where the mountains meet the sea. Sicilia, the island in the sun, is home to Heavenly beaches, majestic mountains and Europe's greatest natural wonder, the volcano Etna. Sicily's coasts are gold with orange and lemon orchards. Each scenic region offers something different. In north eastern Sicily's Nebrodi Mountains you'll find unexpectedly lush forests.
