Buenos Aires Marathon
The Buenos Aires Marathon was first run in 1984. The race route is flat and is 42 km and 195 meters long, beginning and ending at city center.
Typically around 3,000 participants from multiple countries enjoy many beautiful neighborhoods and city sites along the route. This includes lakes and forests, some of the city's finest and most elegant hotels, Government House, cathedral, the Obelisk, financial, historic and tourist districts, soccer stadium, the widest river in the world, the new tunnel, La Boca and countless other fascinating and colorful locales and points of interest all the way to the finish in the wooded Av Figueroa Alcorta.
